• Consistently meet or exceed Company production objectives by persistently achieving the needs of the client.
• Market and sell appropriate products, including life insurance, disability income insurance, long-term care insurance, annuities, and investments.
• Comply with all industry and Company rules and regulations.
• Utilize data, market trends, and industry knowledge to develop and implement a personal business and marketing plan.
• Meet clients inside and outside of the office to establish client needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Analyze, prepare and deliver presentations and seminars to clients through the effective use of information, data and product knowledge
• Responsible for the appropriateness of all products sold to customers.
• Demonstrate outstanding client service and support by continuing to assist current clients in achieving their changing financial objectives.
• Actively participate in on-going training as provided by the Company
• Maintain all books, records and accounts required by MetLife.
• Attend firm meetings and required training sessions. Qualifications

• Ability to learn and adhere to compliance regulations and all MetLife policies and procedures in regards to the sale and service of all MetLife products

• Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, prospecting and selling processes, and the ability to manage the delivery of these systems
• Ability to manage own performance effectively; ability to adjust schedule in order to respond to ambiguity, obstacles and opportunities.
• Ability to incorporate lessons learned to anticipate and plan for future challenges/opportunities. Job Requirements:
• Have or willing to obtain appropriate FINRA Registration and State Licensing: Life/Health, Series 6/7, 65/66, 63 as applicable
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

The MetLife & New England Financial Financial Fellowship Program Title: Fellow/Intern Description MetLife and the New England Financial, in partnership with The American College, offers a financial fellowship experience unlike any other. This is a paid internship taking place in company sales offices around the country from June 11th through July 27th. The Financial Fellowship Program (FFP) provides the opportunity to learn how tobuild a career as a Financial Services Representative. The participants will learn about Marketing, Operations and Sales. In addition, interns will have both firm and academic training about the financial products that provide solutions to client needs. Upon completion of the program, fellows will have gained vital insight into creating a personal financial plan that can be used now and after graduation. Fellows are encouraged to contribute their ideas and make an impact while working with the best minds in the business and gaining first-hand knowledge of a career in the financial services industry. Fellowship Criteria
- Has interest in a career in the financial services industry
- If student, must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a 4 year college
- If student, has completed at least 90 semester hours or equivalent
- If student, has a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United Statesat a location where the internship is offered
- Be able to work 25-40 hours per week for the designated seven weeks
- Attend scheduled webinars and complete training modules (in person at firm and online) while under daily supervision of a mentor
